Market Data Subscription Error

If this is what you see after running the bot, ensure that you have the appropriate Market Data Subscriptions. Before you attempt to get any Market Data Subscriptions, make sure that you have sufficient funds deposited onto your Interactive Brokers account. The following link is a tutorial provided by Interactive Brokers on how to do so:

Step 1: Open "Account Settings" on Interactive Brokers

Step 2: click on "Market Data Subscriptions"

Step 3: click on the Settings icon

Step 4: browse through the menu and buy the appropriate subscriptions which are best suited for you

Resetting Time

The Interactive Brokers' servers initiate minor resets every morning and major system resets weekly on Saturdays EST. The reason for this is to ensure that contracts for stock prices are up to date. Thus, everyday one will be logged out of Interactive Brokers' TWS by the system itself. To ensure that TWS is properly restarted (without human intervention) make sure that the "Auto Logoff Timer" is set to "Auto restart". In addition to this, make sure that the time it auto restarts is not the same as the time it rebalances the stocks. Due to the weekly system resets the bots need to be restarted manually every weekend.
