Please ensure that you set the "TradingTime" portion of the config file to a time that is within the open hours for the market in which you are trading. Trading Tips for Inferno Trading Platform
The Inferno Trading bots accumulate data every day to learn trends and predict upcoming optimal portfolios to accumulate wealth. This data is stored sequentially during every trading day as the bots trade only at most once per day. Once the bot process has started it must be running sequentially every day during the life of the investment. If the bots were stopped for a long period of inactivity while the money remains in the investment the data needs to be reset to ensure that the bots can learn trends properly with accurate and up-to-date data (if not data would be missing). Thus in this scenario, the bot must be reset using the "Reset" button on the Inferno Trading platform. Please don't reset the data during normal operation as the data would be lost.
Amount of Stocks
The passive-aggressive mean reverting, anticorrelation, BNN, and exponential bots all rebalance amongst the 20 stocks chosen in the configuration file. The remaining universal bot only rebalances amongst 5 stocks. This means that even though the config file contains 20 stocks the universal bot will only rebalance amongst the TOP 5. This is something to be aware of when switching strategies between any of the 20 stock bots to the 5 stock bot as the bots will sell off the bottom 15 stocks of the config file in the portfolio.
